she'll have a lot of time to maintain the 6-pack abs. funny thing, i just happened to check out her FB page to see what she was all about and there were comments coming in from every direction. guess turning on her FB privacy function is the least of her worries now.

Here's What We Know About Suspected NSA Leaker ‘Reality Leigh Winner’

The suspect is identified as 25-year old Reality Leigh Winner of Texas.
She is charged with leaking classified intelligence to the media.
Worked with Top Secret security clearance at a federal facility in Georgia since February.
Winner is a Bernie Sanders supporter.
Commonly referred to the President as a "piece of s***."
Worked as a contractor for Pluribus International Corporation.
According to the classified material, the Russian military attempted to infiltrate the US election system using sophisticated malware that
targeted government officials and voting software.
The material was published online by The Intercept Monday afternoon.

If she did indeed leak classified info to the press, then she does need to face the consequences of her action(s). Some people just don't take clearances seriously enough... especially the younger ones.

I don't get it. I used to hold a TS/SCI Security Clearance when I worked for the DOD and we were pretty much scared straight to discuss anything, even if we were 99.9% certain it was not classified information.

There's a big difference between leaking info and whistle blowing.

My prediction is she'll be in prison for 7 years only to be released via a Presidential Pardon upon the end of Bernie's 1st term as President.

Those who give out clearances don't appear to be taking them seriously, either.

Unless they set her up to out herself...

Either gross incompetence or a trap that was sprung.

Could be a bit of both.  IMO "intelligence" has been so outsourced and politicized they are far from where they need to be.  Poor controls, inefficiency, and a subpar product.

But if they are starting to catch such leakers purposefully - it's a good start.  You can't protect the country if you can't keep your own house in order.

Hopefully they throw the book at this chick to discourage any other millennials who don't take classified information serious.

I don't think it was a trap.  It was just shoddy research.

I know that when I had to get my clearances because the comapnay I was working for at the time had contracts with the State Department and ICE.  My background check was actually completed by the FBI, and they were thorough for sure.  They did everything short of a colonoscopy.

In reading some of the reports, she was hired because she could speak multiple dialects of Arabic, and had served in the military.  My guess is that the company she was working for did the preliminary background checks, but didn't bother to look at her social media accounts.  Had they done so, she'd probably just be another unemployed millennial doing audition tapes for The Real World, Survivor, or Big Brother.  Gotta live up to that name somehow.

Technically, she was.  Just not fast enough.

Perhaps, but also perhaps this is just the first of many mistakes to be corrected for much needed housecleaning. We can hope so.

That is a stupid name. Who the heck would take her seriously? I actually had to look that up because I didn't realize that was her name. I saw this nugget on Fox News website, Rosie O'Donnell called her "brave" and gave her $1000. Also, if you're going to leak information you deserve to be jailed for life.

At least Snowden didn't leak specifics, he just put out there what he felt was a serious breach of personal security. He didn't name names, operational details, etc., that could put lives at risk. At least what I remember of it. If I'm wrong, I apologize.
