The core WR is the deepest we have ever seen - he'd only get in the way of development at this point so as much as I'd like to add a 25yr old AB - it just doesn't make sense

Also, you lose points for the click-bait headline

Boldin would be quality depth, a go-to possession receiver and red zone threat. He's still got stuff left in the tank. Not sure we have a spot available for him. But the posters taking a dump on him...SMH. People write favorably about Bryan Walters. Boldin is a billionare's version of Walters. IF there is a spot on our roster for Walters and assuming the purpose of assembling a roster is winning football games, then give me Boldin > Walters every damn day.

All that said - I doubt he signs here. Bucs are a much better landing place due to WR roster and QB.

Who dumped on him ? Saying he is older than dirt isn't exactly dumping on him. If we were not stacked at the position maybe, otherwise? No, not so much.

I would have rather kept Walters than Rashad Greene.  He catches absolutely everything near him.

One of these things is not like the others.

The Jags are not signing Anquan Boldin.  It a'int gonna' happen.  It's a young man's game.

Anquan Boldin never had great speed to begin with. Coupling that with his physical style of play, his football health intact, and his intangibles, I think Boldin can help a team win games in 2017. Except in the playoff loss in Seattle, Boldin was definitely an asset for the Lions last season. Especially, in the red zone and in moving the chains.
