Jaguars Head Coach Doug Marrone after Day 1 of 2017 Training Camp: 'I want to push them more; I want to see them finish more'

Thanks for posting.

Two things leaped out to me.

1.  The "strong outside move" Fowler made on what Oesher stated would have been a sack.  I wonder who he beat.  Self reality check:  no matter who he beat, it was not in pads.

2.  I liked that Allen and Henne were sharing reps at #2 QB.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

It also sounds like Blake Bortles is looking good in early training camp.  It will be interesting to hear how he looks once the pads go on, though he doesn't really have to worry about getting hit or sacked.

I'm hoping that FBT makes it out to at least some of the practices and gives us an update.  He's usually pretty detailed and good with his observations.

Cam Robinson I believe. Also to add, Albert started the day with a false start penalty and was immediately replaced in the starting line up by Cam.

He is.

FWIW, my plan is to be there Saturday evening, the first practice with pads.

I sincerely hope the practices are on the closest fields to the stands.

I look forward to your analysis.  I know it's hard to predict or really talk about how players are "really doing" even when the pads go on.  After all, they'll be going (and I'm just pulling this number out of my posterior) perhaps 80% or even 90%.

That being said though, once the pads go on and they start really getting physical should be a good indicator as far as what the team will be.
