Just heard it on the radio a minute ago that long snapper, Carson Tinker is being put on the IR after tearing his ACL..

Same way a tennis player or other athletes in non-contact sports do: take a wrong step, make a wrong cut, maybe your planting foot slides out from under you. ACL tears are weird and can happen even with what might seem a very simple move.

When I read an article that two other players had taken snaps at the position I knew something was up but I didn't know exactly what it was until now.
