Send Wynn to the P.S.
This is the most likely outcome too.

Remember WR's come aplenty in the NFL and most teams have guys they like from camp. I have confidence that these guys could pass waivers. Even Greene would probably not get picked up and is still PS eligible  but I think it's the end of the road for him either way

We need to hang onto Hurns. I would rather role with Hurns and see if he can work through his issues over getting some whatever 3rd day Draft Choice. It would have to be a really good deal for me to move Hurns this week. Westbrook looks special but he needs more time to develop the hard nuances of route running, etc. to be able to fill his role as the X or Y

Cole and Greene would both get picked up.

I agree. There are bound to be a few teams looking to upgrade a punt/kick returner.

By the time the dust settles and the smoke clears I'd say it looks like this on opening day:

1. Robinson
2. Lee
3. Hurns
4. Westrbook
5. Cole
6. Benn

That's a good looking unit.

I walked into that one.  Laughing

For real though. I am actually happy with the depth we have at WR this year. It feels the most complete we've had it in over ten years. If we can find the right QB. Whether it's Bortles figuring it out in 2017. Or some free agent like Cousins in 2018 or a rookie. This could be a pretty dynamic offense. Just need about two more pieces on the line too.

I don't agree with your assessment.  I think Cole has the chance to be special.  Wynn is this year's Bryan Walter.  Gets open, dependable, returns punts.  I agree with you, Westbrook is special.  But, I think you're being a little too critical of him considering everytime the ball was thrown to him he was open and caught the ball.  What are you seeing that I'm missing?

Can you imagine those guys and Fournette plus:
Cousins, a free agent Guard and first Rd LT (Cam over to RT)

I'm personally "on the fence" as far as Benn, but I wouldn't object if this was the lineup.

I do think that the final position (possibly the bottom two positions) will come down to special teams ability.

That's why those guys make perfect sense there. Cole had a really nice punt return in the preseason and Benn has been a great gunner on ST for two years running.

One could argue Greene over Cole, but he doesn't show the same dynamic ability as a receiver that Cole does.

Trying to replace Benn on that list would probably get you called into DeCamillis' office for a talking to. They tried a number of speedy guys at gunner last year and this offseason, but none of them showed the ability to both shed blocks, and race to the ball carrier like Thompson and Benn.

For all our troubles we have one of the best WR line ups from top to bottom at the moment. Our WR #6 could easily be a WR#4 elsewhere.

I also still think Green can play starting slot somewhere and do it well, he has the talent  imo

Jets are already licking their chops at our waiver WRs.

The Bears need a lot of help at WR as well since Cameron Meredith is out for the year.

Benn in my mind is lock, and I would be absolutely flabbergasted, not to mention extremely upset, to learn that I'm wrong here.

Wynn projects as an intriguing slot receiver, but it it comes down to Hurns vs Wynn, I'm keeping Hurns.

Westbrook? You're kidding, right? Dede has been sensational already.
