ESPN had a video up of the Fowler scoop and score and the guy was terrified to even attempt to pronounce "Ngakoue." 
It was really pitiful.  The video kept showing the strip and he'd just let uncomfortable silence roll instead of trying.

Well i fully admit i was in the worried about Wash and Hackett camp before this and am happy to admit i was so so wrong.

The D today was incredible. 10 sacks, 3 (count them THREE) turnovers and looked so dominant up front and in the secondary. That was a level today. Calais Campbell was so so dominant. I was so happy we managed to get him for on and off the field. Jackson looked like what we got from Denver, Fowler looked a 1st round pick and Ngakoue, well that kid is going to be something special.

The drive where Marrone used the 2 TO's, lost the challenge and 3rd TO and still went for it on 4th and 1. That won me over more than anything as i was with him on every call. The problem with this season nearly everything was unknown, today has given a lot of hope for the coming year.

Yes we won't win like this every week but surely we can try. This year's Raiders?

My only criticism of Wash today is leaving Bouye on Hopkins WAY too long.  Otherwise, the defense was just awesome!

naw It's best for them to keep sides, they are both very good, and if they can get accustomed to 1 side it will make them even better... bouye did fine vs hopkins today

I counted them. There were four.

I suspect you made the same mistake as the refs on the Texans' lone scoring drive.

Your right, to be fair, i'm not used to counting as high as 3 for turnovers in our favor let alone 4!

And don't get me started on that drive. That roughing the passer on Ngakoue was one of the worst calls i've ever seen until i just saw Jermey Lane for Seattle get thrown to the floor by his facemask and then get ejected for throwing a punch, oh and having a pick 6 of Rodgers off the board so maybe we got lucky. That was ref incompetence level 7.5 or something.

Favorite Non-Penalty: For me it was the Fowler hands to the sternum err face.  The team took it in stride and overcame it.

They one the divison last year and we dismantled them. The stats on defense are amazing but even more amazing is us not giving up a single sack against one of the best d lines in the league.

There's nothing to question in my mind.

Some would probably argue that our best asset in that game was the Texans quarterback play in the first half. But, I digress. What I really meant to point out is that it's difficult to have an effective pass rush against any team that is mostly running the ball. For that I give credit to the coaches and the offensive line. Our o-line did far better today than anyone expected... at least far better than I expected!
Nevertheless, I suspect that 4net is going to be feeling a little sore tomorrow. We save bortles by sacrificing 4net's body... interesting strategy.

Dunno about that.  Fournette seems like he relishes contact and loves to dish out punishment of his own.

One win... even a dominating one... isn't going to undue the low image of this team caused by years of ineptness. If the Jags can string together a few more of these sort of dominating victories, then people will start to sit up and take notice. Otherwise, a win like today's will be only too easy for many to discount as a fluke. 
Let's see how it goes against the tacks... then we'll all have a clearer picture of what this team really is; or better yet... let's see us get a victory over a legitimate contender from last season. If that happens, then we know that we're the 'real deal'. 

Until then, I appreciate today's win... but this team has still got a long way to go to prove their the real deal.

Congrats to the Jaguars and to the Jaguars fans on a very impressive road win against a good opponent. I didn't see it coming. Other than the horrible football news with Allen Robinson, this is probably the most impactful win the Jaguars had since the 2007 season. Looking forward to watching the game later this week.

I'm thrilled that Calais Campbell had a tremendous impact today and that it wasn't with Arizona. One of the best players and people in the NFL!
