Jaguars.com - Monday update: Robinson sustains torn ACL

(09-10-2017, 08:18 PM)MojoKing Wrote: So I shouldn't hold any optimism for the fact that he was walking seemingly fine with the medical staff as he was heading into the locker room?

It depends on a lot of factors. How bad was the ACL tear and where did it tear? What kind of collateral damage was there? MCL/LCL/PCL/Meniscus. Individual musculature and structure that may add additional stability - like good quad control, etc. Immediate swelling and pain tolerance could also play some role.

The injury didn't look to be very violent so I doubt there was any catastrophic damage in addition to a potential ACL. It may not even be a full tear. Hopefully it's just a grade two.

Praying for a meniscus or calf injury. Say Robinson isn't able to go next week who do we activate?
No pain, no gain.

Out with a torn ACL. I bet we sign him to a one year deal at some point this season.

I would be devastated for our season but damn we got some good receivers on our roster. Like the Bears and 49ers would kill for our 3rd/4th WR's to be their #1

It sucks to lose A Rob but next man up. Bortles did force it to Allen quite a bit so hopefully he can spread it around a bit more
