I mean, if the Jags had lost BADLY, I think the overreaction of firing everybody would be rampant on these forums...

So, some optimism is nice to see for a change. Agreed about the playoffs though; I want to see this team come out on fire against Tennessee before I say anything. And even then, as far as I'm concerned, I still think this team is a lower mid-tier team at the moment with the current QB they have, as well as having lost Robinson...the offense is going to lean heavy on Fournette, and that worries me. I don't want to see him ruined because the passing game regresses even further without Robinson.

That said, maybe Hurns and Lee really step up this week. Who knows.

Sorry... I can't understand what you're saying...

I'm drunk on this teal-aid.
At least until Sunday when I get drunk on some beer...
And then we'll see what appropriate action should be taken.

It's ok to be optimistic but Cautiously optimistic should be expressed with this team.

The media is eating it up too.

Cool, thanks Hacker.

I agree, you guys need to slow down.

You beat up on a horrible team that wasn't even focused on football due to flooding. Congrats guys.

Not gonna lie, I was rooting for you guys in the game. I love to see HOU get beat.

But this reaction to a win ... DAAAAAMN!

Downtown Jacksonville has been flooded all week. When your team loses, you will have lost to a team that "wasn't even focused on football due to flooding." How awful for you.

We lost to a team that was picked to win the division by many.  Funny how one week changes your mind set.

You guys got handled by a team that flew across country and made your running game look pathetic.

To say a team can't celebrate a win after the trash and expectations thrown at us before the season even started is ridiculous.  Are fans now supposed to act like "we've been here before" now too?  Such a dumb thread.

It looks like a bowling ball on fire.

Win or lose this week, last week's win bodes well for the future. The Texans are the division champions, and we beat them at their place. We (finally) saw a lot of the young players perform at a level we hoped for - Myles Jack comes to mind. Fowler as well. Very impressed by the job Cam Robinson did.

So we know that no matter what happens in the future, these guys are capable of playing at a super high level.

Thanks for talking me down JMVP. I was seriously contemplating a second mortgage and jamming all the proceeds to Vegas for a Jaguars Super Bowl victory. I feel embarrassed now considering what I was about to do with my cash advances on my credit cards.

As the poster above alluded to, we should pin this thread before someone else does what I almost did.

I keep seeing this and I have to ask, wasn't there a hurricane bearing down on Jacksonville while the game was being played?
