You guys are going to get thumped so hard. Jags wore down a defense because Tom Savage couldn't sustain a drive and you guys are world beaters now lol.
That said, I don't think anyone saw this coming. The Texans have an injury list a mile long. Cushing is suspended. JJ Watt looks like a shell of his former self. They persevered though. Good for them.

Cushing is suspended now but played us last Sun while on roids. Still wasn't enough. Watt was fine as well until he played us and then his finger was poking out of his skin. Kind of like Mariota was fine last year unroll we broke in ankle. We will break his soul in this game and he will never be the same again
Watson had 2 huge runs the td and getting closer for the easier fg.
No Fun

Watson stares down Hopkins, the only way Hopkins can get separation is with borderline illegal hand fighting or pushing off every single play, the defense played good enough to win, but the Texans offense looks like absolute gutter trash.
The Bengals didn't honestly look too much different.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

So the Texans' defense was worn out by the 2:02 mark in the 2nd quarter? That's when we went up by two TDs (12-0). Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Our offense scored 22 points and left 4 points on the field. Bengals couldn't score any points. They aren't dry good anymore it Houston isn't trash tho. That's my takeaway
A lot of punting! Atkins looked good though. Both of these teams are pretty bad. But we needed Cincy to do their job and win and they couldn't do it. It looks like the Bungles are back!

Hopkins' whole game is predicated on the idea that the officials won't call offensive PI on every play, so Hopkins just runs right into the defender and pushes off to create space. The NFL needs to call it every time.

He's done that two games in a row. The refs have to start calling that tighter. You can't consistently call the pass interference on the defense when the wide receiver consistently initiates it. How are you so optimistic? Did you watch your team last week? Your running game was non existant. While you can say the Jaguar fans are overly optimistic, the fact that you can come here and say you guys will definitely win Sunday is funny to me. Chop being Chop.... Dashaun Watson is awesome... ...at taking sacks and throwing one-read passes at the turf. Nah... I'm kidding. He led a pretty nice drive against us until he threw the pick to Myles Jack in the red-zone that was called back because of a roughing penalty that never actually happened. ![]() Damn! Your boy Ellington went down like a sack of wet potatoes!
Looked like two of the worst teams in the league on display last night. Texans are lucky that the Bengals sucked just a bit more than they did.

No need to hit the panic button. I think you all have probably been watching football long enough to know that week 1 is not always the greatest indicator of how the season is going to play out.

This is true, just as 2012-2016 is not always the greatest indicator of how the 2017 season will play out. No shame in Tennessee losing to Oakland. That can easily happen to a good team, and I think Tennessee is a pretty good team. It's also true we aren't likely to record another ten sacks against Tennessee this Sunday (though I would love to be wrong and see the Jaguars record an even dozen on you guys). But I believe we match up pretty well against you. The one defensive concern I have is stopping the run. But I think we can pressure Mariota and cover the receivers. I also think we'll have success moving the football. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

Things can change big time from season to season in this league. At the same time you have to realize how quickly things can change from week to week. Fans pick and choose which stats they want to believe or ignore to fit the narrative they're hoping for. It's entirely possible that OAK is just that much better against the run this year. It's also just as possible we've taken a step backward with our run game. We'll have a clearer picture after both teams again this week. Our OL is still in tact. So if we have taken a step backward I have to believe it's more Murray than the OL. And in that case, at least we have Henry waiting in the wings. We show less advertisements to registered users. There was one play that really stood out to me as a terrible call by the officials. Towards the end of the first half when the "catch" was disputed and the call stood after the replay. That ball was clearly moving and very clearly hit the ground. That bad call kept the Texans from punting and led to their only TD and gave them the win.

However, we saw the same thing Al Riveron did in New York and I could not see indisputable video evidence the pass was incomplete.

However, I am not convinced the Bungles would have done anything with the ball anyway, so it is moot. It is more concerning that nobody really knows what a catch is anymore.
