Agree that it was a terrible call with no real explanation. However, I am not convinced the Bungles would have done anything with the ball anyway, so it is moot.

It is more concerning that nobody really knows what a catch is anymore.

Have you ever disagreed with anything a figure of authority has said?

It was obviously not moot because the Texans scored a TD on that drive. As for the call being "terrible," yes it should have been overturned but I understood why it wasn't. Hopefully people watching NFL Total Access on Tuesday will get a clear explanation.

Of course I disagree with figures of authority. It happens all the time. Why do you ask?

The ball clearly shifted when it hit the ground. That's indisputable proof. It was a bad call.

Did the runner ever show control of the ball or was it moving the entire time? That was probably what Al Riveron was looking for. I agree it was a bad call.

He dove for the ball and it shifted when he landed. By rule, that should be incomplete. You can't show control while in mid air and have it shift when you land

The ball was already shifting before he went to the ground. I just hate how some teams seem to have a lot of them go their way while other teams are on the bad end of the deal. Like the roughing the passer last week when it clearly didn't happen. That's 2 calls in 2 week for their only 2 touchdown drives. The way they are playing it won't make a difference in the long run but come on refs, a little consistency please?

The main reason referees lost their replay calling duties (they can only decide to review the play) is consistency. Of course that does not apply to penalties such as the phantom RTP.
