You beat up on a horrible team that wasn't even focused on football due to flooding. Congrats guys.

Not gonna lie, I was rooting for you guys in the game. I love to see HOU get beat.

But this reaction to a win ... DAAAAAMN!

I keep seeing this and I have to ask, wasn't there a hurricane bearing down on Jacksonville while the game was being played?

How many of these tack trolls actually picked the Jaguars to win because of the hurricane?

It's ok to be optimistic but Cautiously optimistic should be expressed with this team.

The media is eating it up too.

Game was a fluke to me until the team proves otherwise. Its gonna take more than 1 win to wipe away the mountain of fail we have accumulated.

Well 2 more flukes like that and they tie last seasons record..

This is the first time in 6 years that we won a season opener. It was also a huge division win. I think excitement and optimism is to be expected.
Here we go again

If we win Sunday, it'll be the first time we would be two games over .500 since weeks 10-11 of 2010 when we were 6-4.

Way too long a drought.

Weren't they 8-6 after losing to the colts late that season, too?

I remember it well, came into the colts game at 8-5 with a chance to ice the division and instead lost the last three games of the season and never recovered.

You are absolutely right.  I stand corrected.

Right year...but wrong weeks.

Still way too long.

This can go both ways. Stop being a snake bit [BLEEP] and realize it's Week 2. Still a lot of football left to be played.

I said I would wait 4 games before I believed this team was for real, but honestly, after that performance, I am inclined to think the first game was a mirage against a team that wasn't as good as we thought they were.

The run the ball, control with D works great, if you never get behind and can actually run even when people gameplan for the run. We clearly couldn't do either of those later things today.

10 penalties for 100 yards.

They started way too many drives with 1st and 20+. Constantly starting that far behind the chains is going to be rough for any QB and Offense, let alone one that wants to run, run and run some more.

Yep, averaging under 3 ypc shows that against a team that is actually ready to defend the run, we can't do it. Add in the long starts, and your in trouble. Blake played bad too for sure, but he is a bit a rhythm guy, and its hard to get any when you don't get much touches (1/3 downs). He really doesn't look like the guy this teams needs right now at all. Not good enough when hes in rhythm, and not good at all when hes out.

This is a watch year. I have no expectations for happiness. I didn't all off season and didn't through the preseason. I enjoyed the win last week. This is just more of the same until something changes. We are in a poor division and have a favorable schedule again. No excuses.

Tried to tell ya. I know the jaguars. They love to break hearts. Here's to another top 5 pick in the draft. We have no QB

I stopped caring last year. I was happy for the win last week, but I didn't even watch this week because I knew what was going to happen. We do not have a QB, and no matter how good our defense or supporting cast is, this team will continue to lose until they have a competent person throwing the ball. I will not watch again next week. It's just setting everyone up for more disappointment.
