Mularkey came in to replace Jack, and he was handed just an awful roster and a front office in transition.  He was set up to fail, and he did as expected.

The smartest thing Mularkey did with the Titans was to go out and get Dick Labeau as the DC and Russ Grimm as the offensive line coach.

Had the tables been turned, Harbaugh probably would have done the same thing.

Bush league or not, the team ran the play based on the look they got from the Ravens.  For a team that's trying to learn how to win games, sometimes you have to set aside polite protocol and play the hand you're dealt.  I've got no problem with it.  This isn't golf or tennis where protocol matters.

Instead of playing the game, Detroit took a knee way ahead of time.  I liked Lofton's comments through out the game.  He had really nice perspective and I liked the honesty he used.  His best comment was about not having to play the Ravens in December.

I don't mind the fake punt. They were stalling offensively. Baltimore was keying in on the run. The jags could lose their momentum or do something aggressive to keep the Ravens on their toes. Let's say Grant just picks up 5 yards on that fake punt and the Jags run off another 4-6 minutes of game clock and kick a field goal. Who would have a problem with that? It's not the Jags fault that it went for 59 yards. In a different era, it would have been classless. In today's game, that's smart play calling.

It's not the kindest thing in the world to do, but in the end, this is professional football. This isn't Pop Warner and we aren't worried about feelings. These are grown men. We are most likely going to end up in a tight race for the AFCS and every point scored helps in tiebreaker scenarios. The Ravens are notorious for doing the same kinds of things to opponents.

So far this season the best thing for me is not having to gripe, moan and complain about coaching. When we retained Gus last summer it killed me because the guy couldn't game plan or make any adjustments. Losing to the Titans bought up a deeper disappointment because they are a true hated rival. When the opposing CB was talking about our game planning and thinking about it, I had 10 years of ineptness to draw on.

I think this week really hammers in that this year will be execution and player problems not professionalism, coaching or planning problems.

As a Pittsburgh native I really hate the Ravens and love to see them get crushed.  That said, I side with you with regard to the fake punt call when the game was already well in hand.

... just hope it doesn't spark Ray Lewis to go out and kill 2 more people

What is bush league for me is Harbaugh's offense scoring in garbage time and not only affecting team defensive statistics, but FF teams all over the world. Now THAT is bush league!
