Myles Jack can't tackle

It's not that he can't tackle, obviously, but he does get washed out of the play too easily which will probably always be a problem given his size and fondness for trying to stack and shed instead of avoiding blockers. Of course he makes up for it in many other ways.

To me it looks like Myles recovers well and sheds the initial block, makes the correct angle to tackle the runner and only begins to stumble when he attempts to adjust to get around the poor angle that Barry Church made. Then again, that's just my observation.

Also yes Church really blew it too. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! What really happened was that Jack was blocked away from the play near the line of scrimmage, then broke to the play but Church's bad angle took Jack out of the play. You can clearly see Jack try to adjust his angle as Church starts to cut him off - but loses footing on the cut just a tiny bit and he can't avoid Church. Jack may have had a chance if Church didn't shut him off. ![]()
Yeah I meant McGuire wasn't focusing on that part of the analysis my bad. As the all 22 showed though, there was far too much distance between Jack and McGuire he wasn't catching him there. At least not at that point. If Church didn't get in the way he might have caught him like 20 yards downfield.
EDIT: Actually, he wasn't catching him period. Elijah McGuire (@Mr_Adversityy) reached a max speed of 21.74 MPH on his 69-yard TD run, the fastest speed by a ball carrier in Week 4
Church has been faulted for that play by more than one analyst including Boselli.
