If we'd start Matt Jones at QB we'd have the bestest offense in the league.

Matt Jones was one of my favorite WRs. I felt like he was so misunderstood. But his time here just seemed destined to fail. Something about JDR.
If you think I offended you, don't worry, I meant to. #facts

At one point Matt Jones was the best WR in Madden. 6'6 ran in the 90's and had a 90's jump stat.
he could have been a pro bowl player if JDR knew how to use him!
Let Jones play QB until November 5th while Bortles trains to throw left handed.
He did have a lot of potential. He would take three or four steps and gain 10 yards easily when he was able to get open. He was just dumb and lazy. Everyone questioned his love and work ethic for football prior to him being drafted and it ended up being true in the end.
What really pissed me off about his selection as a kid was that I really wanted us to select Heath Miller at TE and if you wanted a freak athlete at receiver you didn't have to overdraft Jones to get one. You could have taken Vincent Jackson a RD or two later and been set for a few years. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie?
