I have no doubt that Marrone had Meyers kick that last FG knowing that he would shank it badly to send a message that his time has come to an end.  I think he just wanted to use that moment as an exclamation point to Dave/Tom to bring him in a new kicker.  You can't have a kicker that you have ZERO confidence in when your looking at 45+.  I would imagine we've seen Jason Meyers last game in a Jaguars uniform.

What the hell????, if they were concerned about time,  pass it close to the sideline, more than likely incomplete since bortles lacks perfect ball placement, as a result, clock stops to set up for fg. Kick on 2nd down instead of trying 2 more tmes.  At least try.  Dumb, stupis.

I dont care how much as a coach you dislike a player (meyers) you dont screw the rest of the team to prove a point or hang someone out to dry, that was bad coaching kicking on 2 & 8 and i blame the miss on the coach over the kicker. that being said, i still dont see why meyers is on a football team....any team any where! And even if marone wanted meyers to hang himself, if he would have made the kick it would have backfired on him so no just bad coaching. just like throwing it 3 times at the end of the jets game and running it all second half against the steeler last week. bad coaching!

or Bortles would throw a sideways pass or a 3 yard pass 10 yards away from the sideline
