Malik Hooker's promising season is over. The Colts rookie safety suffered a torn ACL and MCL in Indianapolis' loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

We got some injuries on our 1st and 2nd rounders but this sounds way worse. Heard he is a good player.

He took it like a champ but when the other defender bumped his leg on the sideline it looked pretty bad. Hope he heals up quickly.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Actually it was Jags WR Cole who came in like a missile destroying his leg.

A Colts forum member thinks the hit should be illegal even though Keelan Cole hit Malik Hooker with his shoulder. I am sure that is just bitterness about the result.
