Why the hell is Ramsey is ejected? These refs should be suspended for the rest of the year.

I just saw the video of that altercation. Brutal assault by Green. I guess the refs ejected Ramsey since he pushed first which led to the assault. That's the only thing I can think of. I think it would have only been a flag on Ramsey if it had not escalated.

They say integrity is doing the right thing even when no one else is looking. It is also doing the right thing even if it costs you something. 

In this case you either discipline the guilty party or you don't. A free pass does nothing except tell that person and everyone else that the rules don't really matter, or they only matter when applied to this person or in that situation. In that case you have nothing. 

So you guys keep whining if you want to, I am glad Coughlin and Marrone have shown integrity here. Lessons will be learned from this. No one (in this case Fournette) and no circumstance (winning a game at the expense of bending the rules) is above the rules.

I agree completely, this was big for the long term culture of the team. Gus would have dropped the ball on this and let it slide. We saw how that turned out.

All that and, it’s a long long season, and Fournette just got an extra game of rest.  So there’s that also.

Hard to believe anyone objected to Marrone's action, especially from a few who regularly criticized Gus Bradley for being soft.

This was all Marrone, not Coughlin, and my guess is he earned respect from his team, including Fournette.

This really ticks me off. I live in Ohio and I don't get to every Jaguars game unless I go to my favorite sports bar. Since the Bengals are the local team, I was going to get to sit at home and watch Leonard Fournette on my big screen T.V. with no interruptions. Now that he's out, I really don't even care if I watch the game. We have little to no offense without him. Why this week of all games?

Bortles was 24/38 for 259 yards and one TD. And NO interceptions.

149 rushing yards.

Average gain per offensive play was 5.2 yards.

Time of possession 40:14.

Best of all- we won. We won without Fournette and losing Ramsay for half a game. I live out of market too, but I am never not going to watch a game just because of one player, especially one who chose to let his team down and force the coach to sit him.

Don't worry about the father who works two jobs and bought his 7 year old a LF jersey and saved up for a month to take him to his first Jaguar game.

This is a bush league move.

Marrone killed two birds with one stone. He had ulterior motives for this one game suspension. This was also a warning shot for Marcell Dareus who has a reputation for being a slacker and a scofflaw. Both he and LF learned that homie don't play.
