Not hating. But this Jaguars defense isnt an historic defense like majority of the Jags claim to think. It isnt a defense that could overcome a bad QB.

So when they beat the steeler 30-9 and Bortles was 8-14 for 95 yards with a INT and no TDs, that was a defense that can't overcome a bad QB in your eyes?  

Better see an optometrist.

It's also important to note that in 4 games this season they've not needed to overcome any QB deficiencies as Bortles has played well albeit inconsistently.

Lets be honest... Big Ben has been awful this year and he had his worst career game vs JaX.

Just like the Titans you guys faced weak schedules, Clots, Bengals, Ravens, worst offenses in the league. Granted Rams are good, so are the Steelers but that doesnt change the fact that Jax are horrible against the run. They also dont have alot of takeaways like the historic defenses of like 2015 Broncos or even the 00 Ravens

Pump the brakes please. Huge test this week though against a good RB and a veteran QB. Lets see how good they pair.

.@Jaguars have -down corners and a dominant pass rush.. Hard to move the ball against unit that can blanket receivers and knock the QB around..

The way Gipson is playing this year I feel is the best FS we have ever had.  We brought him here after he had a down year with the Browns hoping he could get back to his play like his 2014 season when he made the Pro Bowl.  He is having an even better season and the best season of his career.  He is a top 5 FS in the league right now imo

Outside of ET I can’t name a better FS than Gipson this year.

It's a pretty different defense, but yeah,  I think they rank very competitively with that defense. If not "as good" then darn near. They are still young at some key spots and will need those guys to be a bit more consistent in order to end the season ranked as well as that D, but I think they may end up being that good.

Sure, they might end up with more sacks, but their takeaways wont even be as close. Plus i dont see Jags run defense even cracking up the top 5. Jaguars are awesome their only allowing around 14 ppg but they are ranked around 21-25 on the run. And they dont have nearly enough takeaways, therefore their an awesome defense, but not close to going down as one of the best. Fournette is like 90% of the jags offense. So even if “Bad blake” shows up it WILL be enough to overcome bad QB PLAY

No.  The Jaguars 2017 defense is not as good as the 2015 Denver Broncos defense... they are better.

Yes.  29 yards given up in the last tilt to Mixon/Bernard was a good start.
