That's why I wanted to sign Foles as competition for Bortles in the offseason.

Foles is nothing like Cassell.  Foles is 6'6, has a 27 TD and 2 Int season under his belt, a 7 TD game, and just won a SB MVP.

My buddy is convinced that Philly is going to trade Wentz now bc Foles is a franchise QB and their guy.

I'd give (2) first round picks and a 3rd rounder for Wentz. He's already a star and he's just getting started.

Agreed. Cassell was a game manager. Foles is the real deal. Imagine if we would've signed him as competition for Bortles in the off season. Things could've been so much different.

Sorry but Foles is clearly a product of Pederson. He drew up a masterful gameplan. Foles in Jacksonville offense would be terrible. Wentz is clearly a better talent, but Pederson turned him into a MVP caliber QB this season in his second year. Coaching matters big time. Anyone who thinks they sign Foles and they sign up for THAT Foles is a complete fool.

We tried to do the same thing with Bortles, but we weren’t to successful from a QB standpoint.

Philly.  No way the Eagles let him go until they know Wentz is 100% which they won't know until next season.

Someone tell me what Blake Bortles do better than Nick Foles?

Seeing you post this gives me the confidence I need to unequivocally say that Cousins is not the answer.

Just his ability to run and take hits and keep on ticking.

I would agree with durability, but Foles is much more accurate, moves in the pocket and can throw on the run all better than #5..

Also bortles is not a natural thrower, cousins is.  Look at some of his passes his motion slows down as he tries to aim the passes and all his crossing routes, his passes are behind the receiver.

According to what I'm reading on Reddit, Philly is destroying itself right now.
