That's a gut punch... I knew we didnt have the cash to spend on a Nickel CB for what he was going to command. but having to play him twice a year when he has intimate knowledge of how to cover our WR's just feels so bad. Well hopefully they can get DRC to play nickel on a friendly deal.
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Glad the Texans are saving the Jaguars from over spending on their nickel position.

Christ.

Colvin was going to get absolutely paid considering how weak the corner market is this year. Get over it.

But with Norwell at G, the other teams will not get the ball.  They can't dink and dunk us if they don't have the ball.

I'm not mad. I don't think Colvin is a cornerback you worry about. He's solid and great tackler and would have had him back at 6 maybe 7 a year. Other than that nah.

Hope he gets paid and stinks against us.

Good for him. It's a shame he stayed within the division but it is what it is. We did swipe Bouye off of them.

To steal a joke off of Twitter, "At least we know one guy who won't pick off Bortles"

Colvin is now the enemy. Peace scrub. Most likely over paid for 0 ints lol

But seriously though, why didn’t they just keep Bouye? Texans seem to be throwing turds at the list of things to do and seeing what sticks.

Good for him, always seemed to be a great team player. Tore his ACL at the Senior Bowl and worked his way back to getting paid. He deserves it

The key core players I'd like to keep are Ramsey, Ngokue, Jack, and Fowler. I accept that we might have to let Dareus, Campbell and/or Jackson go.

I hope they significantly overpaid for him....signing during the tampering period usually translates to such.

I would've much rather spent the money on Colvin rather than Lee.
