Jags acquired five first round players in last two drafts.

Coaching aside, those five players are how the Jags were able to rise so quickly last year. And yes, all of the players we got either were projected to go in the first round, or would have gone in the first round, if the draft was re-held today.
2016. Jalen Ramsey Miles Jack - projected to go in first round, his knee issue scared folks off. Has his knee every been a problem with the Jags? I don't think it has. Yannik Ngokue = Any doubt that if the draft were held over again, he'd be a top 10 pick? Or at least top 20? 2017 Fournette Cam Robinson - projected first round pick who fell into the second round and right into the Jags laps. He's the best left tackle we've drafted since Boselli. He's played well. These are the guys, along with Folwer, are the ones we'll breaking the bank to keep in the future. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! We might let him walk. |
