The Pick between 2 Thread

#1

If you were the GM and you got your pick down to two guys, who would you take? In this game you pick between two guys presented by the previous poster and give a brief description of why. Then you propose 2 guys for the next poster to pick from. They can either be the same position if you want or they can be from different positions but with similar draft grade/projection. I will start it off.

Gesicki or Hernandez. I would go with Hernandez because the draft is TE rich and we can get one in later rounds.

Jackson or Rudolph?

Hernandez and Rudolph.

I just hope Hernandez is coachable and willing to learn. His technique is horrible. As a talent, I feel that Gesicki is much better, but like you said it's a TE-rich draft.

So you are taking Rudolph over Jackson? Why? Than you put who the next two guys are you want us to pick from? If your 2 guys are Hernandez and Rudolph, I pick Hernandez, but that is mainly because I believe in Blake and I don't want to spend a 1st rounder on a back up QB unless that guy is Aaron Rodgers.

I like both Rudolph and Jackson. Rudolph just seems to have more of a chance to mold into a legit NFL QB over time whereas I wonder if Jackson might always be a gimmick QB. I have the graded rather equally though at least as rookies.

As for me saying Hernandez and Rudolph, I was merely picking one player from each pair of players the OP mentioned. Both were tough calls to make.

Hernandez over Gesicki in a runaway

Rudolph over Jackson in a beatdown

Good one.

I’d go Davenport, because he appears to be a player who could slot into our defensive line as a replacement for Ngakoue or Fowler.

But if we were looking for another pass-rushing option, Sweat is worth thinking about.

My turn.

Will Dissly or Dalton Shultz?

Going by the NFL draft analysis, I will go with Shultz.

Vander Esch - all day!

Guice or Chubb

*I can see the Jags taking a RB with the first pick. If the Jags are going to be a run first team and LF goes down we are toast. (Fournette, Guice/Chubb, Yeldon, Grant)

Guice. I like Chubb but I don't think he is the best Georgia RB in the draft.

Roquan Smith for WILL

Vander Esch for MLB and SLB

Both would be useful and Samuels would be a great option to have, but I think we need to have someone like Chubb to back up Fournette (and take his place if he misses more games).

Braden Smith or Frank Ragnow?
