The Annual Site Wide Mock

(This post was last modified: 04-01-2018, 12:53 PM by TheO-LineMatters.)

Looking to overhaul the Safety position after signing Strong Safety Morgan Burnett in free agency, the Steelers now look to the Free Safety position as they select Jessie Bates III of Wake Forest.

Great pick. I forget he was still available.

You think Hernandez has power for a G... Brown has just as much and he knows how to use it with proper technique.

While his combine is a concern, I think once he gets in an NFL weight/nutrition program, he will be fine.  A Gesicki and Brown combination in the first two rounds would be a win for the Jaguars, IMO.

I remember Andre Smith was ridiculed for his combine appearance/performance a few years back, and he turned out to be just fine.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

I hope he comes around as last time we had to vote for him. So far JF24 has been on the clock for about 9 hours.

With the last pick of the 2nd round the Browns take RB Ronald Jones USC.

I guess it's Browns again? If so they pick Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, EDGE, Oklahoma. Struggling a bit with that one.

So let's talk about the first 2 rounds. Who has improved the most after the annual site mock draft - 2 rounds

I like what Cleveland has done. With their new QBs and WR, and a couple of studs on defense, they look nice.

Keep going...again, this is an opportunity for us casual fans to learn something about the relatively obscure players in the draft. I'm sure I'm not alone in seeing an interesting name here and then going out to NFL.com draft tracker to read more about him.

Also, the format of announcing the player's name, position, and school (plus a little bit about him if possible) is appreciated.

Thanks

Thank you sir. Of course with 2 picks in the top 4 and 4 in the first 2 rounds if they don't have a good draft then something will have gone terribly wrong...

I started it - listed the first 7 picks of the third in the OP but I have to break off and do some work for a while.
