One at each position

With around a fortnight to go and most of us now fairly certain over who we like, can you give me the one player you really want at each position (be realistic!).
Maybe limit it to the positions you think we need to fill and are likely to draft. I’d go... TE - Hurst OG - Ragnow OT - McGlinchey WR - Pettis (with Miller a close second) CB -MJ Stewart LB - Griffin QB - Maybe Jackson but not sold on any QB We show less advertisements to registered users. TE-Hurst/Gesicki G-Hernandez T McGlinchey/Crosby WR-Chark CB-Alexander/Stewart QB-Rudolph Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
TE- Hurst
OG-Hernandez OT-McGlinchey WR- Moore CB-Hughes LB-Leonard QB-Rudolph(Pretty much between him and Jackson)
TE- Hayden Hurst, South Carolina
OG- Isaiah Wynn, Georgia OT- Brandon Parker, North Carolina A&T WR- D.J. Chark, LSU CB- Donte Jackson, LSU LB- Darius Leonard, South Carolina State QB- Mason Rudolph, Oklahoma State/Mike White, Western Kentucky (If Rudolph is gone by #29.) TE - Dallas Geodert
OG - Isaiah Wynn OT - Conner Williams WR - Courtland Sutton LB - Leighton Vander Esch QB - Lamar Jackson RB, CB and DT - not drafting in round one (04-11-2018, 02:30 AM)Andy G Wrote: With around a fortnight to go and most of us now fairly certain over who we like, can you give me the one player you really want at each position (be realistic!). On McGlinchey, for one he won't be there as he's going in the 8 to 18 range, but also he's going to start at OT so you'd have to move Parnell. While I admit he's a better OT than Conner Williams, I'd rather have Williams knowing you could realistically plug him in at RG and then have him bounce out to RT whenever the aging Parnell is ready to call it quits.

OG - Will Hernandez in the 1st
TE - Mark Andrews/Dallas Goedert in the 2nd CB -MJ Stewart in the 3rd LB - Genard Avery in the 4th We would possibly fill 4 starting positions with this draft... The only issue with this draft is WR, and you can make the argument we don't need to add any WRs considering what Westbrook and Cole showed last year as rookies playing half a season. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

As for Andrews, I really don't feel he should be playing in Florida. The high humidity would hinder his game. Check out his combine interview where he discusses his condition and practically begs to go to a dry weather team.

TE - Goedert/Hurst
OL - Connor Williams (a guy that can play RG then move to RT) QB - Rudolph WR - St. Brown CB - Dawson LB, S, and DL will be depth mostly so I don't have any guys on my radar for those positions really. I think we could realistically get 3 of the 6 guys I've mentioned.
QB- Lauletta
RB- Michel C- Ragnow OG- Hernandez OT- McGlinchey, Brown in round 3 or 4 TE- Goedert WR- Sutton CB- Dawson LB- Griffen DT- Senat DE- Okoronkwo (just to hear people try and pronounce his name) S- Fitzpatrick (won't happen but that is who I want) P- JK Scott We show less advertisements to registered users. TE-GoedertSchultz 1st/4th
WR-Gallup 3rd OG-Price/Corbett/Teller 1st/3rd/4th OT-Toth 6th LB-Avery/Scales 4th/6th CB-Dawson/Nelson 3rd/6th S-Reaves 7th
RD1 P29: Isaiah Wynn - G - Georiga
RD2 P61: Rashaad Penny - RB - San Diego State RD3 P93: Darius Leonard - OLB - South Carolina State RD4 P129: Dalton Schultz - TE - Stanford RD6 P203: Antonio Callaway - WR - Florida RD7 P230: Desmond Harrison - OT - West Georgia RD7 P247: Danny Johnson - CB - Southern ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing; Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king."
WR - Anthony Miller, Memphis. I just like this guy's game. I don't like those fumbles, but everything else about him I like.
TE - Gesicki, PSU. Why not put a top-tier athlete out in space on a Safety? Seems like a recipe for success to me. OT - Austin Corbett, Nevada. Road Grader that I think will do really well at RT. OG - Connor Williams, Texas. I know he plays OT, but I think he'd make a heck of a Guard. C - Ragnow, Arkansas. I'm not even gonna give you a reason why. RB - Kerryon Johnson, Auburn. I love those patient players that allow the O Line to do their work. LB - Vander Esch, BYU. LB that can play in space. Gimme! DL - Marcus Davenport, UTSA. I have this feeling that he's gonna drop on draft day. Can we get him in the First without trading up? DB - Donte Jackson, LSU. Fastest guy on the field.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say! |
