Did they do enough over the offseason to improve that wretched Defense? I hope they're not pinning their hopes on a healthy Watt because after all the procedures he's been through, even 70% of what he was would be surprising to me. Then you have Clowney who has an injury history and inconsistency problems when he's healthy. Mercilus is a nice player but is he really that impactful? Their CBs are still atrocious but Tyrann was definitely a nice addition. It all hinges on Watson I think. Lamar Miller has been a bust for them and D'Onta Foreman didn't show anything I'd be nervous going against. They need immaculate health and no regression from their QB who has 6 games under his belt. In the perfect scenario for them they could be good, but it just seems like a lot of things have to go right.

Colvin will be exposed on the outside. If the Texans are smart, they’ll move both him and Matthieu around a lot with ample blitzing and box play. If teams can count on Colvin playing outside, they’ll find a very average to subpar guy to pick on.

I am not so sure about Colvin.  He is a really good tackler.  He will probably play off the receiver.  We shall see.
