*** NBA 2017 Season Thread ***

Maybe around the trade deadline. The sad thing is that over half of the magics wins on the season came before my first post. Over 2 months and 30+ games ago.
Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! Media on the Brain Link! Quote:Peyton must store oxygen in that forehead of his. The NBA kind of sucks this year.

Westbrook & Durant were lighting it up in the 1st half. The Cavs defense is terrible and they can't keep motivated for a full 48 minutes --- their ball movement on offense is horrible as usual

Yep, the West has like 3 good teams, and the rest are meh (but having 2 teams good enough to have a chance to beat the warriors is an improvement). The Cavs are terrible. I do not think they are coming out of the east, and LeBron has gone straight into diva mode. That team will be lucky to get past the second round. Way too many injuries. At this point I can't blame Kyrie for getting out of Cleveland, LeBron actually believes all the hype. He pretended he came back down to earth earlier this season, but with all the leaks he is putting out, its hard for me to like him. I hope Love gets out of there before his rep is completely ruined as well. Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! New Management same stupidity for the magic. Elfrid Payton gone for a 2nd round pick? Ridiculous. Kid was alright, a guy in the 2nd round would be lucky to be a role player. At least the Jags are good.

Interesting how the Cavs have gotten so much better since their trade. Isiah Thomas is a cancer. Its nice to see the process coming to fruition also. Magic are on their way to firing another coach and a low lottery pick. At least the Rockets look like they can take down the Warriors. So we might get some new blood in the finals.

Sixers now only a game behind the Cavs for the 3 seed in the east. Getting hot at the right time.

50 wins for Philly and two games to go
all the people who blasted Sam Hinkie in the media owe him an apology

But he got lucky that Embiid was able to come back. Guy could have been another Greg Oden easily as well. I am hoping for total chaos this year in the playoffs. I want the warriors to get dropped in the first 2 rounds, and I think I am going to pull for Toronto, because, why not? LeBron gonna have to play his best ball.and heavy minutes of his playoff career. He's got no Kyrie to help him.out. Just LeBron and a bunch of role players.

That comment wasn't about this year. I think Philly will get past the first round cause the opponent is weak, but the second round will be a different story without Embiid. It doesn't matter tho, it looks like he will be back before then anyway.
