I hope high on the board for second round.

There is a pretty good chance he wont be there in the 2nd round. He may not even be there at pick 29. There is a growing sentiment he will be the first TE taken.

Didn’t the Patriots also show interest in Hurst?

Was just reading how someone leaked to the media some inappropriate/racist tweets Josh Allen made in 2012 or 2013 and he released a statement of apology.

Looks like people are trying to hit that draft stock any way they can.

While I do think if you say something, you generally need to own it and deserve what comes your way, he was probably 15/16 years old at the time and people do mature and get smarter...that was a long time ago.

Anyone think it effects his draft position?

It was just people retweeting all his old tweets on twitter.

Lots of weird stuff but yeah he was quite young.
Every draft prospect should delete their twitter prior to the draft and make a new one

Per rotoworld:

Quote: Report: Sony Michel has bone on bone in knee

According to The Ringer's Mike Lombardi, NFL teams have concerns Georgia RB Sony Michel has a bone-on-bone condition in his knee.

It can be a career-shortening condition, and contributed to Jay Ajayi's fall in the 2015 draft.

NFL Network's Mike Mayock has also alluded to medical concerns surrounding Michel, but still sent Michel to the Steelers in the first round in his mock draft on Thursday night. Lombardi said teams have concerns Michel won't last long enough to play out a second contract.

This is big. Oh I hope he falls to us in the 2nd or better yet the 3rd.

Unless you know how the first 19 picks will work out, it could end up being a pointless move up (either because the player or players you want are taken or because they are all falling to 29).

I do believe there are more big trades to come though.

Just hope the Patriots aren’t allowed to grab Brady II.  We don’t want them dominating the NFL for another decade.

This is why I do not believe there is anything substantive to this.

Might the Jaguars and Lions kicked around the idea of a trade?

Sure, but teams kick around trade possibilities all the time before the draft.

I will say if they did have talks, then Detroit likely leaked the information to drum up demand for the pick.

If DE-OLB Harold Landry,  DE Marcus Davenport,  and DT Vita Vea are all off the board before pick # 20,  I hope the Lions and Jaguars could work out a draft trade.   There's very likely going to be a 1st Round caliber DT and/ or viable Interior Offensive Line options at # 29.

Who would each of you want at # 20 ( realistic possibilities ) that it would make sense for the Jaguars to trade up to that spot if the compensation is fair for both teams?

I dont want to trade up, trade back if anything

Only way I see a trade up is if it is for a QB or if an Elite prospect somehow falls through the cracks.

There is a good chance of that happening but do the jags sacrifice a little of the future for a win now type player?

I'd probably do it.

Who cares if there would be a 1st round caliber DT there? That's not a need at all. I wouldn't trade up for anyone unless one of the QB's I like starts to fall. I'd rather trade back. That makes more sense.

"Jacksonville Jaguars: Interior offensive line is the name of the game for Jacksonville after building a dynamite defense through free agency and the draft. The only way that could change is if a cornerback the Jags believe could replace Aaron Colvin in the slot is available."

He is viewing it from the Lions point of view in stating a DT/OL would be there at 29 if they would trade back...
