Maybe I'm going to jinx him now bue he's also the only QB who hasn't thrown an INT yet...let's see today.

Ahah I'm sure after the first Bortles INT someone will come up with that. Big Grin

Is Kessler an upgrade over Henne, oh yeah, but I still don't see him as a consistent starting QB in the NFL. It doesn't matter how bad things may get, (hopefully they won't), I'll never be screaming for Kessler to replace Bortles. I am more confident in our backup situation though than I have been in past seasons.

Looks like one of those rub routes that gets him open against Ramsey there.

I think that was the strategy going into the offseason... to get a young, experienced backup QB that wont create a lot of drama or QB controversy. I think they accomplished that.

Ramsey pulling up short here. Little bit of loafing going on.
ASJ continuing to look sharp and Bortles showing that new chemistry with his big target.

Cole would have been murdered by the Safety there in a game.

There's definitely some fatigue showing out there.

LOL.  The only controversy was/is the fans.

I meant as opposed to getting a QB in the top 3 rounds.

I feel like everything the beat has put out there has been glowing, but I've seen a few fairly scathing fan tweets about how it looks like he is quite out of shape and sucking wind with hands on knees in between reps. Work on that conditioning son! We need him to be able to play more snaps than any of our other skill positions IMO.

Quote: We haven't brought up the running back group a lot but it was a good day for them. Leonard Fournette and Corey Grant both ran the ball well, while T.J. Yeldonstood out as a receiver during 11-on-11 drills. Fournette looks quicker than he was last year, which is a good thing given his drop in weight.

That's just it.  It's pretty obvious the team feels that Bortles is the QB so your scenario wasn't ever going to happen.

The only 'controversy' is among some fans.

This offense could be quite scary.

Stack the box? ASJ, Chark, Westbrook and Cole got you.

Go with 7 man fronts? Norwell and Robinson pave the way for Fournette.

Let's hope we actually try to combat a stacked box by throwing to these guys.
Often, we run into the stacked box.

The box will continue to be stacked until BB5 proves he can make them pay on the regular for stacking the box.

He started to at the end of last year. Let's hope it continues.
