What can I say, the young kid with a powerful leg that's 20 years younger just went out and stole his job. Lechler at the age 42 worked under a 1 year contract, every year. Good luck to him though/wish him the best and I thoroughly enjoyed his time here.. one of the greatest in NFL history. I knew it was going to come back up, but it still doesn't change my previous opinion. Lechler at 42 had one of his best years last season (Nobody could've foreseen Trevor Daniel doing what he did)..
