Ha. Week 1: First half Bortles, Second half Bottles.

Just start and end games as Bortles, we'll tolerate the other personality, Senor Bottles, intermittently. It happens to the best of em.

By every metric bortles is in the 10-14 range for QBs this year. Take put the tennessee game and hes 6-8. I think we see him finish this year right around top 10 in the league. Bortles hate gotta stop.

Make no mistakes people, this game is going to be the toughest we've had so far this year.

The Chiefs D is giving up yardage but it's not to be ignored. Ford and Houston are solid pass rushers and Hitchens is a solid LB. They are missing Berry still which helps us. We need a healthy O line and they need a good game. Looks like we're rolling without Fournette again so the O line needs to boss those trenches.

Obviously the match up is D against the Chiefs O. This team gets up for the big games, they showed that against the Pats and I think this will be our Pittsburgh coming out party. This D has a swagger and thinks it can stop any and all O's. This is the game where Jalen may actually get targeted, the coaches really need to be on their matchups and coverages as Hill can break one at any point, and saying that, we need ST to have s good week.

We have to stop the run with 4 as if we need to bring Telvin or Jack or one of the safeties, they will pick us apart with Kelce and Hunt.

The Chiefs have a lot of guys who can make plays at WR, nobody has ever heard of them but they make plays.

I've also noticed the Chiefs are @New England the week after so hopefully they may have a focus on that game.

I don't think they will but I can hope!

Gip can handle Kelce if he handled Gronk.

Only thing that really worries me about KC is Mahones ability to get out of the pocket and away from the rush and make plays.
Gotta keep him in the pocket and get home with the rush.

Good defense usually trumps good offense.

Jags defense will slow down the KC full throttle attack some.

KC's defense is not that good.

That side of the coin will be the determining factor in the game IMO; Jags offense vs KC defense.

I think the Jags should win.
The x-factor is that it's in Arrowhead though. Tough place to play.

we're the first team they've faced with a shutdown defense.....and KC is pretty much
all their Offense.
Their D is really ranked low.
Still, the Jags need to take nothing for granted.

Chiefs' fans feel pretty confident about this game. For some reason, I'm not as worried about this game as the Titans match up.

This is a perfect game to run that two back set with three wide and let BB5 sling it all over the place.
Jags offense has a chance to put up an even bigger number than they did yesterday vs the jets.

Stopping Mahomes, Hill, Kelce and Hunt is going to be a big test for this Jags defense. They'll have to play better in the secondary than they did yesterday. Darnold and his receivers left some big plays out there with drops and overthrows. Mahomes and company aren't as likely to do that.

Pro: Their secondary isn't very good, and right now, the passing game is the strength of our offense.

Con: We will be in a loud, hostile atmosphere in Arrowhead, and they have a couple of guys (Ford and Houston) who can get after the passer, and we are playing with a backup LT. They also can't stop the run, either.

As for stopping their offense, i think we can slow them down.

Denver slowed them down a bit, and arguably we're better. Watkins may also be out with a hamstring injury.

We can beat them, but it looks a lot tougher than many of us thought it would be before Mahomes gained experience and showed he has learned well under Reid.

Andy Reid gets the edge in coaching. It is impressive what he does. It is odd to not have it ever translate in the post season.

Not really. Two of their games they were losing at half time and one they were tied. They are also the 5th worst at stopping the run.

The chiefs defense just hasn't been very good so far this year.
