Yan might be the most disruptive defensive player outside Mack.

Do people watch the games?? Yannick is getting pressure constantly, he's usually beating his man and flushing the QB from the pocket. I think he leads the league in pressures/hurries ... yet people only look at "sacks" smh. Also on this Dline you could beat your man clean but since 2 other guys also won their rep they get to the QB first and the sack goes to them, Yannick is fine and still playing stellar. This thread is inane.
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!

I’ll put it like this....Yannick is gonna break the bank when it comes time to re up. He is special.

Not to mention he could easily have a back to back game where he racks up 3 sacks, and all of a sudden he has 7 sacks by week 7 or 8. Then finish the season with 6 or 7 more to give him 14 or 15 sacks.

Guys are scheming for him now.

Yannick is a monster, he rarly doesn't get into the backfield. When he does the qb has to run away, spin, throw away or get a quick throw out.

Dudes a beast if we ran more blitz hed have 3 or 4 sacks already.

Not only that, but Wash is moving him around the defense, playing him at RDE, LDE and in a 2 point stance next to the NT in some passing downs.  Teams have done stuff like that with great pass rushers like LT, Bruce Smith, Howie Long, Reggie White.

Conversely, it wouldn't have done the Jaguars any good to do that with guys like Renaldo Wynn, Tyson Alualu, or Derrick harvey.

I'm happy with how Ngakoue is playing right now, and I hope he has a huge game for us on Sunday.  We'll need it from him.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Just watched the coaches view on Game Pass.  I was surprised at how often he and Big "C" flipped sides.

Trying to free Yan up from the Double Teams both Calaes and yan have been monsters from the outside and when Cales moves inside with Jackson they are blowing up the middle faster then yan can get aorund the outside.

Remember that drive against the Giants that Yannick literally took over singlehandedly? Yeah that's an elite pass rusher.

Also I would say hes been a much better run defender this year

This probably has more to do with where the opposing TE lines up than anything else. I haven't actually looked at the tape to confirm this, but my suspicion is you'll typically see Campbell on the side with the TE.

Think the team has 70 pressures in 130 pass rush snaps.....that's pretty amazing!

It's hard being good in the NFL. Teams game plan for you and will rotate blocking to limit your opportunities. That and offensive linemen getting away with holding every other snap against us.
No pain, no gain.

Did you even read what I wrote? I stated he’s playing very well. My QUESTION was pertaining to his sack number. Not him playing well as I clearly stated. My only mistake was missing his sack in the game. I still don’t remember seeing it tbh. But watched a replay and saw it. Please read the full thing before jumping to conclusions.... some of y’all act like I was calling him a chump. Just asked WHY he hasn’t gotten the sacks yet. That’s it....
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!
