I think it depends. Currently not a lot of wind. It can be if the QB doesn't have a strong arm, but that is Mahomes best trait.

I worry about their quickness and speed. With softer, slippy ground, it can be hard for the defense to explode from a stop or change directions to catch a player already running, especially when playing zone, trying to limit YAC and keep things in front. 

Of course that could also limit their twitchiness and and ability to change direction to hit a big play.

One possible positive is the rain and possibly lightning delays may diffuse the crowd's impact and noise level.

We have to see which Blake shows up. If he stays home, we lose by two touchdowns because our D can't keep up with the chefs O for that long.

Trying to be realistic. We really do need the defense to force a turnover or two in this game. Mahomes is overdue. We cannot give Hill the football on punts and kick-offs. Lambo needs to kick it through the endzone. Cooke needs to make sure that he either gets enough hang time or he punts it deep and out of bounds. I expect Bortles and this offense to score on this defense though. No excuses for them not to.

There's going to be a few 50/50 balls thrown up in this game with Mahomes. Arrowhead is so tough to play in. But this defense was built to travel well. Bortles is playing his best football yet as far as pure passing and moving things along with his legs. Hopefully he can string together another Jets/Patriots type performance.

The chiefs defense isn't bad at all. they are not on the field long enough,and Kansa city scores so many points a game the defense doesn't get much of a chance to play.

Did hell just freeze over? I’m watching NFLNetwork and the start ‘em scrolling along the bottom shows start Bortles as the 5th best qb this week. Also said to start Yeldon and Cole. I know KC defense isn’t that great but was surprised to see the Blake one.

Midwest storms are no joke. If the forecast stays true its going to be a lot of rain Saturday leading up into Sunday
Bad weather always favors the offense from the perspective of having to defend what the offense is doing.
Mahomes arm is talented enough to cut through the rain and wind while still being productive. Blake on the other could be really affected by bad weather.
