Looks like they'll sign Williams and Charles and waive Wilds.

Welcome on board!

I think he can help a lot in short yardage situation, he isn't expected to carry the load for the entire game and he's definitely more reliable than the random PS guy.
Obviously nowhere near the player he was but in our situation, I'll gladly take it.

Interested to see if we sign Williams as well now.

I like it. Even if he lost a step, he has tons of experience. Doesn't give the X factor of Grant, but more versatile.

Honestly, when Fournette heals up, that backfield of LF, TJ, JC sounds pretty good.

We ought to have #27 back for the squealers visit in November.  If Charles can help us till then, we good.

Good signing. He just needs to be a rotational back, not an every downs pounder. Even AP ground out some decent games this year before his injury and he’s in the same age bracket

Crazy to think about how the backfield started with Fournette, Yeldon and Grant but now it's Yeldon and Jamaal Charles. 2018 has been bonkers.

why on earth do you think an older, smaller, never good powerback in his prime because he weighs 205 lb's RB is going to help in short yardage situations?????????

It’s been a little crazy across the league.  I think some of the rule changes and calls on the field are contributing a lot to that as well

It's also crazy to think that going into this offseason we were all expecting the team to look at Oline, TE and RB early in the draft. They surprised everyone by not going in that direction and now those are all the positions hit by the injury bug. I know that there is no way they could've planned for that (other than Leonards durability issues) but it still has to make you laugh. I mean you can't make this stuff up.

Jamaal Charles is still running. The former All-Pro running back is planning to sign a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported.

If you would have told me this in 2013 I would have been ecstatic

Charles had 1980 yards from scrimmage with 19 TDs (with KC)
Yeldon had 1418 yards from scrimmage with 14 TDs (at Bama)

At least he can pass block if nothing else.
