Rapoport reporting this from "source." It's probably accurate, but Marrone just stated that they'd see him run Wednesday and decide then.

Injuries happen, and you can't rush a hamstring.

I can't help but think we are trying to be cute by saying it's day to day or week to week, I know hamstrings can be tough to judge but if you can rule him out for Sunday on a Monday or Wednesday then it's obviously pretty bad.

The hope is they just want a fully healthy Fournette come week 10 or so and a run at the playoffs but what's to say he won't get hurt again.

They've repotedly worked out 2 FA RBs (Darkwa, Dayes)  -  rumors of a third this morning.  (Murray)

They need to just sit his [BLEEP] down for a while and be done with it. Trying to have him play in every other game is pointless at this point. He's just going to keep tweaking it and before long it'll be the entire season that he misses, instead of just half of it.

They obviously are going to add someone. I never understood any of the Wilds love in preseason. He has zero speed or quickness and just runs into blockers. Anyways, Jags have worked out some RB's but as for trade speculation I saw some names. I mean we already invested the 4th overall and #36 overall picks in different drafts at RB. That's a hell of an investment, but what are you going to do when the injury bug happens. It's a tough pill to swallow to have to use another pick on one if they decide to go trade route.

There's some interesting RB options that are FA's after the season. Ingram leads the list, but he is so important to NO I highly doubt they'd consider anything. Abdullah in Detroit doesn't even play at all, probably could be had for a 7th. Powell for the Jets is a 30 y/o RB set to be a FA, probably an easy trade. Tevin Coleman is 25 not really getting many carries for the Falcons, would be a nice 1-2 punch with Yeldon and the Falcons are a bad team. They could use a pick. CJ Anderson in Carolina not getting any carries, he had over 1k last season. Mike Davis stock is on the rise in SEA. He would be a great pick up, I like how he runs.

Hammys are tricky...he might not he fully healthy until 2019. If they rush him back he.will only make it worse and might end up on IR. Get used to life with him this year.

It’s not hamstrings are tricky it’s just Fournette is tricky. He’s a gimp who will be hurt more than helpful his time in Jacksonville. If it’s not one body part it’s an ankle. Just gotta live with a bad pick and do better in the future.

So many pessimist fortune tellers appearing on the board lately.

ps - nobody knows [BLEEP] about Fournette's career path yet, so settle down

Guy ran for 1k as a rook and changed the identity of our offense but apparently hes already a bust and a wasted draft pick

I expect him back in time for the squealers in November.  Could be pretty cool watching a LF27/Yeldon/J.Charles committee play out the latter half of the season into the playoffs.

I know Jamall has lost a step with age and injuries, but I'm still really excited about this signing. If he can stay healthy and limit his touches to 8-10 per game I still belive that he can be dynamic. I agree that Fournette should be held out until he is 100%. We are definitley going to need him come playoff time and it would be extremely disheartening if they brought him back early just to have him tweak it again a week later.

Fragile Fournette?

Ehhh hammys are the worst, no real timetable and no real hope without long periods of rest.

Odds that he will be injured on the the next game he plays in?

The same odds as the sun rising tomorrow.
