Better upside than Wilds had, was actually hoping to draft him in the late rounds. I wonder if he's a candidate to be converted to a FB hybrid with his size.

The ole Coughlin move as well. Pick up a piece from your upcoming opponent, take him to the confessions chamber, squeeze out every ounce of info you possibly can from him. He'll stick around though, the only PS RB.

5-star recruit.

6'1" - 228 pounds
4.52 - 40 time
40" vertical jump

Here's my overview of Bo Smile

Overview
Scarbrough can be a runaway locomotive, but he needs a long track to get rolling or his effectiveness will drop sharply. Scarbrough won't make tacklers miss, but he is a brute force who can add yardage to the end of runs. Scarbrough is a one-cut runner who is best in an under-center rushing attack where he can get carries in bunches. He has the talent to be an effective NFL running back, but durability concerns and a lack of pass catching ability could cap where teams are willing to consider drafting him. His explosive testing at the Combine could intrigue teams who had written him off previously.

Strengths
Tapered, powerful physique
Is a punisher behind his pads
Can absorb solid blows and keep runs alive
Will always fall forward once he gets a head of steam behind him
Plays with steady tempo
Has surprising ability to gather weight and cut sharply downhill as outside zone runner
Generally comfortable making reads and choosing track from I-formation
Tackling him high ends poorly for defenders
Able to create additional yardage through power and long speed
Able to batter defenses late in game and then hit the chunk play
Short yardage touchdown specialist who can leap up-and-over the pile
Had dominant stretch against Auburn, Florida, Washington and Clemson late last year
Can thump in blitz pick-up
Hasn't had to handle a heavy workload thanks in part to Alabama's committee approach

Weaknesses
Plays with upright running style
Frame too accessible for big hitters looking for a slab of ribs
Durability is a major concern
Has suffered through multiple lower body injuries dating back to high school
Long strider who needs a long runway to get to top speed
Doesn't have bend and footwork to string moves together
Too big and leggy to counter sudden penetration in backfield and needs runs to stay on schedule
Impatient with a penchant for crowding lead blockers and eliminating his own escape routes
Burst and feel for running lanes is below average
Defenders got hands on him much earlier in the carry than his teammate Damien Harris
Missing second-level vision to play chess against linebackers

Interesting that Jags went with Dave Williams over Scarborough in the active roster since both options were at their disposal. I liked him in uni indeed. We'll see how the backfield pans out; they have viable pieces to tinker with, especially when 27 returns.

Bo's a physical freak with poor vision and is pretty one dimensional but he can be a 75% Fournette for us. Has one of the worst medical histories you'll see from a prospect

2 ACL tears, broken leg, broken ankle and various other strains and ailments throughout college, although he played through some of them.

Mm. Hence Jags went with the more reliable option in Williams, health history wise at least. This answers my musing above.

He actually looks significantly more north/south explosive than Fournette is. He probably won't need that runway to get up to speed. He doesn't have the long speed Fournette has though, obviously, and he is pretty limited laterally.

Anyone surprised by just how many RBs we're signing at this point? Looking more and more likey we won't see Fournette until after the bye week.

No.
I think it's directly related to the team getting away from the way they want to play games in KC and failing as a result.

They're determined to re-establish the run and they know Yeldon is playing hurt already.

You can bet your bottom dollar they don't want to see Blake throw it 50+ times again and they need to find a committee of backs that can let them get back to what they were structured to have success with.
These signings are just the Jags F.O. doing whatever it takes to get that done.

Fournette needs a runway? I always thought he accelerated very explosively.

No sir. Go watch Kamara or Mixon or even Carson or Aaron Jones from last year's class. Shot out of a cannon. Fournette is not like that at all.

Desperate move to try and steal the Cowboys playbook this way!!!! Americas team and most hated by the media will have to fight the referees and Bo being a trader by hand delivering the plays. Quarterback (if you want to call him that) Blake Bortles will win this game for the COWBOYS!!!

Funny, I thought a Plowboys fan would be somewhat intelligent.

Boy was I wrong.
