I'm kind of assuming there will be no healthy scratches today.

Win the turnover battle, win the game.

Can the Jags do that? We will see. Currently 31st in the league in turnover differential, this needs to change.

where were they before last week?  I know they haven’t created a whole lot of turnovers this year, just wondering how much last week affected that stat.

Not sure, but I think I remember the Jags going -3 in TO differential against the Jets. We won, but it's rare to win like that. Extremely rare. Can't keep turning the ball over and expect to win!

Bills are just going to hand Houston a win I guess.

They’ve been doing that all year so far,  we’ll, except for when they beat the tacks. Lol

Which one will it be today?

Read an ESPN article criticizing our choices at running back and TE this offseason. Basically we didn't do enough because of how we want to play offense. They were saying we ignored a deep TE class. Definitely true and it is going to be tough sledding.

Hoping for good Bortles today. I hope he figures things out.

For two years running they've done that IMO. Biting them in the butt right now.

I have tempered feelings.  It is a long season  I hope se navigate these injuries and overcome. Our division is average so that helps

This game is crucial as I think the next 2 games have a higher chance to be losses than today. This is a must win IMO

watching the Steelers game something occurred to me. 2 of Gene Smiths first round picks are still in the NFL

Gene Smith 1st round picks:
2009 Eugene Monroe Out of NFL
2010 Tyson ALluallu Starting in NFL still
2011 Blain Gabbert Still in NFL started one game this year
2012 Justin Blackman Out of NFL

Wonder if there's a chance of Marcedes coming back.  He's still out there right?

Riding the bench in green bay I think.

If we can find a way to win at least 2 of our next 3 starting today we'd be in good shape for the Bye week. Tall order but should be winnable. 1-2 would only be acceptable if the win is against Houston. We aren't the only team dinged up.
No pain, no gain.

Playcalling on both offense and defense have to get better.

No more wasted deep passes or back shoulder throws to Moncrief, remove that from the playbook.
Don't abandon the run.
Use the middle of the field passing.

Defense has to stop sitting back.
Start attacking the offense instead of reacting.
No more safe zone.

And tell BB5 to run it.

Maybe the Jags can get out ahead big and get Richardson some plays. The depth is gone on the OL.
