I’d be shocked if they don’t get after Watson three times more than they pressured Dak last week.
That was really the only game that they’ve performed poorly in at pressuring the QB. The issue is really more about containment when he takes off.
A lot depends on how healthy guys like Jackson and Campbell are this weekend. Both are dinged up, but playing through it. We should get to Watson, but it's going to require guys overcoming injury. This game has the potential to be a get healthy opportunity before London and the bye week.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I think they could still get home plenty even if they put those two on a reduced snap count. The main guy I chat with about fantasy football and stuff on Sundays is a Texans fan who whines incessantly about how godawful Davenport and Lamm are at RT. So speaking of a get right opportunity...might be a nice time for Fowler to remove himself from the milk carton. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Could be a confidence building game for Bryan. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
DiRocco posted this morning that the Jags actually lead the league in pressure percentage.
(Not # of pressures, but the rate of them) They lead the league in pressure rate this season (35.3 percent), but they aren't getting quarterbacks down: Their 14 sacks rank in the middle of the pack in the NFL. - DiRocco ESPN ^
They should be able to walk out of this game with at least three - five sacks. Ngakoue has started hitting home more over these past three weeks. I don't see that trend slowing.

This might be the game to get the sack totals moving in the right direction. The defense hasn't been nearly as bad as the fans perceive it to be. They've had one exceptionally bad game, and they allowed the 2nd best scoring offense in the NFL to hang 23 points on them. That's 13 points below their average per game. Never argue with idiots. Also its crazy how often Yannick, Jackson and Calais been getting held.

I wonder where DiRocco got this stat from. This article from the ringer says we're 9th in the league with a 31.4% pressure rate, referencing Football Outsiders. I don't have FO premium though to see deeper than that. It was also just a good article to read. https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2018/10/19...regression (10-19-2018, 07:27 AM)snowwolf776 Wrote: the defense is playing againest a chamption QB. And he had a great game against Alabama. But... the problem with the tinhorns is their offensive lineman. You can have a Championship Caliber QB under center for years. But it doesn't do you any good if you can't give him time to pass. And the last two games we've played them we've pretty much had our way with their offensive line. I don't expect a double digit game out of this front four sack wise. But it's not out of question that they're plenty capable of getting at least half of that tomorrow. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie?
