You know what irritates me about all this is the preseason games. They are little more than a fan shakedown. I do like them b/c you get to reunite with tailgate friends, see the rookies, get into the old seats, etc. but you end up paying full price plus parking and whatever else...probably just to leave at halftime b/c it's 85-90 degrees, humid, and the you don't know half the players on the field (esp in Game 4).

I am not happy about paying for 2 preseason games while the Philadelphia Eagles game is moved to London. If the team decides to move a second home game there and leave me to foot the bill on preseason games, then I'm gone. And, lol, if they try playing 4 over there as has been mentioned here and sticking us with preseason games then there should be a mass exodus.

Agree.  The 6:2 ratio of home vs preseason games would cause a lot of fans to NOT renew and a ratio of 4:2 would result in a mass exodus so I'd have to think if we lose 4 regular season games then they'd also take a preseason game which would leave the ratio at 4:1 home vs preseason games in Jax which I'd accept and renew.

Would it be too expensive to play a preseason game over there b/c they would have to bring 90 players instead of 53 (assuming PS players travel with the team, I don't know)?

I think it is a blow to the Jaguars, because the purchase would have given Khan a stranglehold on the lucrative London games, with more control over when we play and more opportunity to make money from the games. Missing out means we lose all that and the door opens for other teams to get a foothold in the market (maybe at White Hart Lane).

Despite the embarrassing British media reports, this was never about moving the Jaguars, it was about strengthening the Jaguars. And that’s what we’ve lost.

I just wanted to really clear this whole thing up for everyone, from what I gather reading all of the articles.

Shad buying Wembley is a clear indication that the Jags are done in Jacksonville.  

Shad not buying Wembley is a clear indication that things are now worse for the Jags in Jacksonville.  

Being that not once in any of the articles have I seen mention of the investment Shad has made in the city, or his history here, or his statements indicate his being tired of this issue, and that his actions speak for themselves, all of that is truly insignificant.  

I imagine if Shad bought burial plots for him and his whole family at the stadium, ran for mayor of Jacksonville, had Tony run for Corrine Brown's former seat, then purchased the Landing and renamed it "SHAD'S LIFETIME LANDING" this would also be a nefarious plot to trick the people of Jacksonville and actually would be a plan to move the team to Istanbul within the next few years, by 2020 at the latest.  In the middle fo the night.

Me neither.

Chargers ownership screwed up big time.  They don't understand the history of the LA Market and/or they didn't care.  I get that they had a stadium issue but the market was solid.  They irked the fan base and are second fiddle to the Rams.  Oh and further victory for the RAMS is their owner will be in charge of the stadium.
