What about their drops? You aren't going to take that into account?

They caught em from Kessler.

I would have never gave Bortles an extension. The Thursday night game vs the Titans told me all I needed to know. Down 28-0, but Bortles has 322 yards by the end of the game when they were in prevent.

Bort is Leftwich 2.000000

So the receivers are choosing which QB to catch the ball from and which ones to drop them from based off their dislike of the QB? Ok, that makes sense.

No. It's just there's a difference. Kessler seems to take his time more and trust his protection almost to a fault. It lets the receivers finish their route and be ready for the ball. Bortles gets the ball and is immediately erratic. Guys are barely turning their head into their break and the ball is wobbly and not very accurate.

Bortles has to dip below his belt to generate velocity. It’s so unnatural and awkward. Kessler atleast holds it by his ear and throws it.

Ramsey is trying to say Bortles is terrible and Kessler is the guy that needs to play.

It's easier to catch a spiral than a duck... it's easier to catch a ball when you know it's going to be right on the money, as opposed to a variant there of.

That being said, they should still catch any ball that hits them in the hands. Millions of dollars to catch a football. No excuse not to. They also had a drop or two with Kessler as well...

Stop it, just stop. I was watching the game yesterday and the passes from Bortles that the receivers dropped should have been caught, no excuses. Yes, I agree Bortles isn't the answer but to continually keep putting the offensive issues solely on him is ridiculous.

Brett the offensive issues are with Bortles fam. He has not been able to generate any points in the first half for 3 straight games. The receivers are only as good as your QB.

Michael Thomas for the Saints would be just a Michael Thomas on the Jaguars. But when a stud like Brees is throwing you the football on time, nice tight spiral, hitting you in stride, and giving you the ball before the DB can tackle you. That’s why he is one of the best receivers in the league.

Look at Mahomes he has such a cannon, his receivers can run 10 yard hooks all day because he can zing the ball before they can break on it.

Bortles can only throw crossers and screens, and the occasional hold your breath ball going deep.

So they are getting open but they can’t catch the ball. You know, the main part of their job is to CATCH THE BALL, and they are failing to do so. What exactly is the point of this thread again?

So 50.3% is 7th place.
Whats the percentage on the teams placed at the bottom.
Just hard to interpret these stats when there's not context or relation to the other teams.

Great job resorting to name calling since you can’t  have a normal adult conversation. Try to keep up and answer the question.

We are 3rd in the league in drops. I can recall all 5 WRs having drops in all the games we’ve played. What good does getting you open do if you can’t catch the ball that’s thrown your way?

Bortles sucks and should’ve been replaced last year. But he’s not the only culprit in our offensive struggles as you seem to think.

Chark has.

Westbrook has.

Moncrief has a known effort issue.

ASJ has.

Yeldon dropped a Kessler pass yesterday.

You see what you want to see.

Let's slow down on the millions of dollars talk.  Westbrook and Cole and Chark rookie deals.  Moncrief is the only one banking on the field.

Oh really? It's only Cole huh?.....

https://twitter.com/zach_goodall/status/...0185187332

So let me get this straight.. We have a high amount of dropped passes, that are mainly all coming from Cole, yet he only had 2 of them coming into this game? Something just doesn't line up here...... HMMMMM...
