He signed a 5 year, $125 Million dollar contract just last year.. Owed like $25m per year and he's terrible. People are upset about paying Bortles $18m, could you imaging paying him $25m.... Let alone giving up draft picks to get him LOL.

This is assuming we don't get back on track, or LF doesn't make an impact coming off the bye. Wells is coming back week 12 and he was solid before he got hurt. If we find a way to go 10-6 or 9-7, chances are we are flirting with the AFCS title or a 6th seed birth with some help. Teams fall apart and get it together in the last 2 months of the year all the time. We can do it, we have the talent, we are very clearly under performing at the moment. The coaches need to get out of their own heads, call a better game(I'm looking at your Nate), and play better defense up front. If we can get our guys focused and the coordinators can get their minds right this team is very capable of getting 6+ wins out of the next 8, the only team on that list that's 'scary' is Pittsburgh, and the Titans only because they just seem to whip us whenever we play them. Houston is good, but if we are on our A game I think we could beat them. |
