Yeah. There are plenty of folks that can't distinguish between the two. Both have some blame to reckon with. 

Even though I think Hackett has had his fair share gaffs calling plays, I do feel like he's practically doing so with one hand tied behind his back when "bad Blake" shows up to play.  Even when it's good Blake week, Hackett doesn't exactly have a wide open playbook to work with. Mitigating Blake's mistakes has definitely affected the playbook negatively.

They both need fixing IMO.  I mean, wouldn't it be nice to have no need to lean on one or the other to pull through, but to have both available to get the job done vs any given opponent? 

I feel as much as Bortles' flaws are hyperbolized around here, we've reached a tipping point. 
 Injuries have rendered the running game ineffective and that's gotta get right too. 

And sure, Hackett could have dialed up some smarter smoke and mirrors at times to hobble this offense along and move the chains more effectively.

I'd definitely not defend the guy any longer if that were to happen. But I really can't imagine it going down like that.

One thing, do people realize that Bridgewater had an amazing D, Adrian Peterson, Stephon Diggs, Mike Wallace, and Kyle Rudolph and still only managed 14 TDs in a complete year?   

I continue to watch so many teams with weapons that Bortles could only reminisce about, to the days of having Arob.....

I just don't know how this shallow-mindedness continues, what to they expect a QB is going to do with NO running game, NO reliable receivers, ZERO contribution from the TE's, and a back-up-back-up-back-up at LT?


What would Bortles do with say,,,,I don't know, having the weapons they often-mentioned-traded-to-us Eli?  Beckom?  Shepard?  Engram?

We have to adjust everywhere you look, and that is not an excuse, but the actual reason- for LT, regression from WR's, and drops that are killers, TE injuries that are laughable at this point, and a focal point of the O being absent since the 1st half of the 1st half.

Just a fragile plan, that fell apart, because of circumstances.  It is what it is.

You sir own post of the 2018 season. I've been saying this for years. No matter who is behind center, Jags fans will have a problem with him. BB5 our here running for first downs, getting killed because his WRs cant catch (Cole) or don't try (Moncrief), and he is down to his 5th or 6th TE. You can show all the screenshots you want, if you don't have any confidence in your receivers outside of Westbrook, and no confidence in your Oline, then you are going to get the results that you have seen for weeks. I don't blame Blake for the recent play in the last few weeks. its crazy the injuries and "inconsistencies" of the pieces around him.
