Plus he's now playing as an OLB in a 3-4 and is being blocked by TE's not T's

Typical showing of good/bad Fowler today.
2 huge penalties, especially the second one AFTER the play was over on 3rd down that extended 2 TD drives for the Seahawks and the good Fowler or the strip sack at the end.
Not that it matters much what he does at this point,we have an awful lot of other problems and he's playing in a different role/scheme and situation as Rams have the lead most of the time and they can send their rusher free. A. Donald was a beast again today down the middle.

He also had a roughing the passer penalty earlier in the game which would have ended a Seattle drive, but instead extended it.

I really wish we could of kept Fowler, but how? The only possible way would be to cut Calais with the amount of money he is going to be paid to have him on the field all downs. Paying him here would of still kept him on the bench. Unless they cut Malik and moved Calais inside permanently... he literally had no place on the team... and it sucks. I liked Fowler, and he is going to absolutely destroy it as a 3-4 OLB. It's either cut Malik and move in Calais or cut Calais...while paying big bucks for Fowler. Tough spot.
