Quote:LOL I did not want to make one before taking my San Francisco sweatshirt off.

Fun fact: Peyton Manning is the first quarterback to take two teams to the Super Bowl. That is what Jim Nantz said.

that can't be right? is it? hmmmmm I'll have to check into this one.

Quote:how can you hate the Seahawks? They where the whipping boys of the NFC for SOOO long, love how they turned that franchise around.

TMD's just mad the Seahawks made him look dumb for adamantly claiming all week that they had no shot at beating San Fran.

On Wisconsin.

Quote:Jim Nantz fell asleep the last decade were Kurt Warner did it with the Rams and the Cardinals.

Maybe he said Peyton Manning would be the first quarterback to win a Super Bowl with two teams. Like I said before, my ears don't work very well.

Sometimes I wish I had captions on my TV.

Quote:I have zero interest in this SB. Hate both teams. Can't wait till its over.

How can you root against the team that has three former Jaguars? Something is wrong with you if you call yourself a real Jaguars fan but hate JDR and Pot Roast.

And don't get me started on Peyton Manning. There is no reason to hate him because he is a nice guy who deserves a lot of respect.

There's no reason to hate Manning, unless you hold grudges for the amount of times he's defeated the Jags.

Other than that he's a great guy who's easily the most respected player in the league.

If you want to hold grudges, hold them against the Colts, not their former quarterback.

I knew this wasn't right:

Craig Morton - Dallas Cowboys Superbowl V and Denver Broncos Superbowl XII

Kurt Warner - St. Louis Rams Superbowl XXXIV and Arizona Cardinals Superbowl XLIII

Peyton is the third QB to do it.

I guess you missed my later post that no quarterback ever won two Super Bowls for different teams. If Jim Nantz said that, he was correct.

Prediction time everyone.

Broncos win, but Seahawks keep them under 40 points.

He can't say Peyton won two super bowls with different teams, if Peyton hasn't done it yet. I am far more inclined to believe he said what you originally relayed, which would be a typical off-the-cuff remark by a commentator who didn't think about what he was saying. Which is exactly what most commentators do.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

Really? The tacks are enemy number one in my book.

Exactly..

of course tacks are number one but Manning is a close second, both are my sworn enemy!

ok yea I missed that, if Manning wins he'd be the only one to win with two different teams.

Going for Seattle. Denver is so loaded that it's not even fair, not to knock them for building a good roster. Plus, say what you want, I like Richard Sherman. The guy says what he wants and backs it up. He maybe took the Erin Andrews interview to the extreme but he did make the game winning tip to interception. Fun question; who do you guys think Sherman shadows the whole game? I'm thinking it has to be D Thomas. Sherman shadowed Jimmy Graham against Brees and held him to one catch...best offense vs best defense...ahh I cant wait

Are they Jaguars anymore?  No....so they can dislike them if they want.

I root for the team, not former players.

Peyton Manning is probably the most respected player in the NFL.   Sherman is a classless idiot and I want to see nine TD's thrown to his side of the field.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

I think he said, "If the Broncos win the Super Bowl, Peyton Manning will be the first starting quarterback to win the Super Bowl with two different teams." That would be correct.

I can't root for a guy who scares a sideline reporter to death the way Richard Sherman did. (Erin Andrews said that on ESPN.) It is not right to say what he wants even if a game-winning play seems to back up his statements. C'mon, man, he was not targeted all night before that pass.

I don't know who he will cover, but it probably won't matter too much because Peyton has a lot of weapons to work with and Seattle's other cornerback is very good too.

If only Sherman was willing to learn from his teammates who actually are classy. Has he ever helped someone get back on his feet without being asked? Probably not.

Manning is definitely one of the most respected players. My remodeler said he is like Joe Montana, telling guys stuff like, "Meet me in the end zone," in the huddle.
