Where is Tom Coughlin in all this?

#1

Does he step in this week? From AFC championship one year to a heap of garbage the next. Gotta wonder when an executive decision will be made. Wasn't he brought here for that? Can't believe that he is OK with this crap.

Why not , let's do a clean "sweep"

But seriously, he's here because Kahn knows nothing about football and the regime a year ago had no idea what they were doing. Now, we look like the team that was here before Coughlin. It's not a good look for him.

Because a lost season is not a closed window no matter what the whiners here think.

And do what? He didn't come here to take over for Marrone. He's done coaching, he's an adminstrative person now

Doubt Coughlin will do anything during the season. Probably wouldn't make any difference anyway.

First order of business. Fire Caldwell and either take direct accountability for the personal or find someone that will.

There’s literally no reason to fire Caldwell. Bortles did not pan out. Prettt much everybody else he’s brought in was decent.

Bortles has held us back just like Leftwich and Gabbert.

Cougjlin could have at anytime rejected Caldwell's ideas. Coughlin is top dog in personnel so you can't fire Caldwell without firing coughlin too. If Coughlin wasn't on board in unision with Caldwell, decipns made would be different

Um, what?

Caldwell has saddled this team with his lousy batting average in the first round

Caldwell has been terrible. His free agent signings have been terrible. His first 3 top 5 picks likely won't be in the roster next year and his 2018 1st eound pick was awful as well. Norwell has been an epic bust as well. The list goes on and on.

Think about it, he just had his very first draft where he wasn't picking in the top 5. That is very telling.

2013: OT Luke Joeckel (free agent)
2014: QB Blake Bortles
2015: DE Dante Fowler (traded)
2016: CB Jalen Ramsey
2017: RB Leonard Fournette
2018: DL Taven Bryan

Cashing a free check securing his grandkids and great grandkids future will doing jack [BLEEP]. One anomaly season doesn’t make him good at this administration job. He’s had one good season and one bad one, but the picks and decisions he’s done for the team’s future doesn’t look good at all. This having a gm asking permission from a dude above him to make moves is not gonna work long term.

My insider tells me that a highly pissed Khan had a lengthy closed door meeting with the FO personnel right after the game. I would have liked to been a fly on that wall.

Purely speculating, I'm thinking some folks were put on notice (coughHackett, coughCoughlin) and perhaps some lineup changes (coughBortles).

Coughlin was 100% complicit in the creation of said crap
