Why not promote Scott Milanovich. He is the QB coach. He has also been a OC in the CFL and HC in the CFL and won the Grey Cup 2 times as OC and Once as HC. I know its not the NFL but you have to start somewhere let him finish the season and see if he has success.

Kessler may be just a backup but his desire and poise are exactly what this team needs to finish the season with momentum and hungry to compete for more than just pride in 2019.
