We should of took Lamar, would of helped as a specialist even if Blake had played lights out.

I wonder how he'd play against good teams/defense. Only been tested once as a starter. Looking forward to the Rose Bowl game. OSU didn't have a very good Oline this year either. This team proved we can win with Blake as the QB but we have to fix the running game via offensive line and probably bring in a go-to receiver. Getting rid of Robinson/Hurns is proving costly. With Lee being down all season these younger guys can't get separation and can't hold onto the ball. God forbid we have a year with a decent offensive line and a healthy Fournette/tight end. Blake will likely be our best bet going into 2019 or we'll have to trade up and pray we get quality O-Line depth somewhere. TCUs defense is always a good test for QBs and he did pretty well against them too

The draft is nearly 6 months away. Plenty of players rise and fall before then. Too early to judge before combine and interviews in the college game.
There may be options like Free Agency or Trades. ![]()
Rappoport and Glazer both reporting that the Jags are moving on from Blake after this year.
I feel like it’s obvious but there are a few who believe he will be back.

Bortles will be back because he was nominated by the Jaguars for the Walter Payton award. Good community players stay with their team for a long time. We show less advertisements to registered users. Michigan had the #1 pass defense in the country. (12-06-2018, 09:18 PM)Cleatwood Wrote: Rappoport and Glazer both reporting that the Jags are moving on from Blake after this year. I truly hope Rappoport and Glazer are right. |
