Yeah it was probably easier/quicker. Still not cool by the establishment to send over super-expensive liquor to customers and then bill them for something they didn't order.

Thats really [BLEEP] if thats what happened.
I would dispute the bill too, even if i had that kind of cash

It's called the Soho bottle bar scam. They warn tourists about this stuff in city guides and what not.

This happens at all hotspots in all cities.
Church and Hayden shouldve seen this raquet a mile away.

Jacksonville is such a backwater that the scam is actually just to get you to pay the cover charge.

I know what it is, that's why I called it a con. The thing is celebrities like the players are more vulnerable than others because they're accustomed to getting comps. And that's why I'm not directing criticism at them, I'm directing derision at the establishment.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

He's not likely to go before the end of the year, sadly, because unless Coughlin plans on stepping down to the field on an interim basis, there's absolutely no one on staff ready to take on the interim job. No question that the first order of business on Black Monday should be announcing his termination, though.

The teams's behavior on and off the field will probably be the end of Marrone. Near the top of the league in penalties and personal fouls. The off the field issues are another issue.

Maybe DeCamillis? Didn’t he have a previous relationship with TC.

Why does this team even bother showing up? Never make the mistake of having any expectations of anyone on this team ever. Seemingly overnight this team has gone from AFC favorite to just an overly abused joke.
No pain, no gain.

Sure, why not? Firing Marrone at this point wouldn't be about saving the season. It would be about not having him in the building while they interview possible replacements.

I'll drink to that.

Tom Coughlin: Can we get Mike McCarthy's phone number?

Kahn: ON IT!

The way the discipline issues went from "borderline" to "totally off the rails" supports this sentiment.

I'm no Marrone hater, but there's no denying his inability to rein in his team's lack of discipline. It's become an increasingly ugly issue.

Marrone and Wash are soon to be gone, per a trustworthy source. Trust me guys, this is 100% factual. The Pope even concurs. Take it tha Bank! Cash it!

But seriously, they have to go. This team isn't going to play for and trust them any longer.
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!

I sure wish Bill Belichick would hold a coaches only symposium on discipline.

I thought TC would have held that meeting upon his arrival in Jax.  Clearly - it didn't take.

Either that - or he's more hands off with those duties than many of us imagined.

I am beginning to wonder what it is he actually does...

When I try to share the roster issues with him people tell me "Caldwell is the GM!!"
When we wonder about the coaching issues, now it seems he maybe isn't bringing the "If you're on time you're late" attitude?

Why was he brought here?

Realistically, in the NFL, when things go bad they tend to go real bad. The injuries mounted, our offense fell apart, our D was stretched too thin, in-fighting, it's all been blown up and magnified.
The roster really isn't THAT bad. And coaches tend to lose a little bit of control and players tend to look worse toward the end of a season like this.
And the messages and the coaching is probably very similar and very much what we thought last year, when things were going much better.

Regardless though... probably time for some fresh ideas... new blood.
But I still go back and wonder... if TC is the guy getting the new people in... will it actually be fresh ideas?
