Not good, but fans need to realize just because you bought a ticket, it don't make you a man or give you carte blanche to puff up and treat players like this.

I don't get too worked up over stuff like this TMZ vid, but LF is showing quite a pattern of stupid behavior here.

If I were Marrone, I'd suspend him this week and give Hyde a chance to audition for 2019.

I have zero problem with a player verbally clapping back at a fan

Clapping back is one thing  -  comments bordering on violent threats after you just got suspended for fighting is pretty dumb.

Well... if this is true, then I'll back off of my suspension position.

Would " Christian McCaffery is a better running back that you !" be considered a racial slur?

From what is being reported, it looks like this might have been the case.  We don't know for sure because what is being "reported" is only half of the story.  The fact of the matter is, Fournette needs to learn how to control his emotions better.  It doesn't really give him a pass no matter how offended he might have been.

We live in a different age where everything is recorded on video and immediately posted to social media.  The context didn't matter, it was "the video" and "an NFL player threatening a fan".  That was the supposed "story" without getting both sides.

The thing is, these players are professionals and should conduct themselves as such.  I'm not saying that he was wrong, but public perception could destroy a career.  It would be better for him if there was video of the fan using the racial slur towards him... but that would never happen or be published.

When you become a public figure as NFL players are you have to be able to control your reactions to the noise. Fournette apparently is a easy target to goad into reaction. That personality trait will make him a constant target of provocation by fans, players and media members. He better learn that quick or he will possibly end up separated from his career and much of his cash.

I am more upset that he's worried about what some yahoo in row 3 is screaming than worrying about focusing on the game. Let the nearby fans or stadium personnel deal with the foulmouthed fan.

I hope Marrone would be, too.

That C on Fournette's chest looks more and more out of place every day.

Ok so last year we almost made the Super Bowl being a running team with an opportunistic defense. Now we want to change our philosophy because the defense was garbage one week? They didn't even try.
No pain, no gain.
