As far as I heard, he got in trouble once more while suspended and never applied for reinstatement.

I believe Gordon attended rehab facilities.

Blackmon basically walked away, and did not look back.

For Gordon's sake, I hope he gets things figured out. Maybe that involves life without football. Sounds like he's gonna have some time to sort that question out.
