Well, they still have Nick Chubb.

I doubt they will try to shop Duke Johnson with this suspension.

He'll probably appeal it down to 4 or 6.

Is there any other profession where the punishment is basically being fired, and basically only 1 year of suspension from duties?

He's waived his right to appeal.

The NFL needs to be consistent. Not that I condone the actions. But they are all, over the place. Maybe they’re just upping the ante to say that won’t be tolerated. If so, I’m cool. If not, then it needs to be the same penalty as the previous “More severe” cases.

There definitely needs to be a true system with regulations, appeals, and impartial judgement.

Problem though is that penalties themselves just don't match what most of society would face for similar situations. In MLB, NBA, & NHL, I think the appropriate penalty should be suspension. But then if the player wants to keep playing they have to spend a certain amount of years in the minor/D-leagues depending on severity of the infraction. But there is no such structure in place for the NFL right now. Maybe if these spring leagues get more traction.

If Hunt played in the AFCCG ... I think the Chiefs beat the Patriots, and the Rams.
